The most powerful sensation was hearing the wind travel through the leaves, and feeling the cool breeze it created.

I have been on this course before, but I ran it. So this time was different, because I was able to take my time and concentrate on my surroundings. There were a lot more noises and I saw a lot more nature then what I noticed before.

On the walk to hear birds singing, leaves rattling in the wind, the sound of animals, and myself stepping on sticks. I also heard the band playing.

While I was walking I smelt the fresh crisp scent of the cool air, and I smelt the naturalness and freshness of the leaves and grass.

On the walk I just kept thinking about how everything is so complex and has such detail. I was thinking about how diverse nature was, but how simple it all is at the same time. I was amazed by how much more you can see when you actually take the time to look.

When I first got outside I was a bit cold, but as the walk continued and my mind wandered to other thoughts, I didn’t notice any certain feelings. I felt fascination when I looked at certain plants and flowers that stuck out to me.

This experience can be compared to Taoism because during the walk you focus on natures condition and focus in to the  beautiful nature that surrounds you everyday. Also, like Taoism, during this walk you zone out and are in your own little world surrounded by the things you see everyday, but are now seeing them more clear then ever before.
